Job summary

ForeFlight, based in Austin, TX, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, and delivering data-driven insights to leadership in a hybrid Austin setting.

You will partner with business leaders, build financial models, and prepare executive-level reporting to shape investment decisions. 3–5 years of FP&A experience and SaaS knowledge are preferred, with MBA as a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical finance experience.
• Experience with financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis in SaaS.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills for non-finance audiences.
• Located in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Own financial reporting and forecasting for assigned business areas.
• Support annual operating plan and monthly reforecasting with FP&A team.
• Build and maintain financial models for planning and scenario analysis.
• Prepare monthly variance analyses and executive-ready reports.
• Analyze revenue, headcount costs, and operating expenses; advise partners.
• Partner with Accounting to support accruals and month-end close.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic FP&A projects.
