Job summary

Cleveland Menu is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst to support the finance function in a manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will assist with financial reporting, month-end close, FP&A, and costing analyses in a hands-on role at our onsite location.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 1–3 years' experience (internships welcome), strong Excel skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset ready to learn and grow with the team.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY

This is an entry-level role designed for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who is eager to learn and grow within a manufacturing finance environment.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst will support the finance function by assisting with financial reporting, month-end and year-end close processes, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A).

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Financial Reporting & Close Support

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and management reports.
• Support the general ledger close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Help maintain accurate and organized financial records in accordance with internal controls and policies.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Support the development of job costing models and profitability reports.
• Help track and analyze production costs, margins, and pricing trends.
• Prepare variance analyses and ad hoc reports to support decision-making.

Collaboration & Development

• Work closely with the Director of Finance and accounting team to support day-to-day finance operations.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, ask questions, and take on new responsibilities as skills develop.
• Contribute to a culture of process adherence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to ERP/accounting systems a plus.
• Strong analytical skills with close attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and collaborate across teams.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships considered).

• Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000
