Job summary

Augmentis is seeking a Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst to support our client’s West Michigan plant with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. The role includes SOX control testing, journal entries, and cross-functional collaboration to drive profitability.

The position offers full relocation assistance, day-one benefits, and a robust training culture. You will work with a publicly recognized aerospace/industrial portfolio and contribute to ongoing improvements in cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 2+ years of experience in an accounting role with financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, able to synthesize data and make calls.
• ITAR and U.S. person status may be required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial forecasts, weekly forecast updates, and analysis of financial and operational results.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and inventory analysis.
• Perform self-assessment audits and ensure SOX compliance.
• Review and report monthly manufacturing variances and plant expenses affecting job costing.
• Support cross-functional development of departmental budgets and periodic reporting of key metrics.
• Assist internal and external auditors on facility audits.
