Financial Analyst - Remote
Pay: $35.81
Contract Duration: 6 months
The Analyst, eCommerce Finance will be an essential member of the Financial Operations team within Fame House. They will have the responsibility of assisting with the month-end close process, preparing sales data files for VAT return filings, managing thecorporate card, optimizing processes and to establish best practices. This position will report into the Senior Director, eCommerce Finance.
Duties
Assist with the month-end close by providing back-up and support schedules ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Ensure timeliness and accuracy of EU, AU and UK sales data files sent to 3rd parties to prepare and file VAT returns, as well as making sure payments are processed in a timely fashion.
Compile coding for carrier charges received from Logistics
Manage the Corporate Card and collaborate with internal departments to retrieve the proper documentation.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, and internal controls.
Assist with special projects and initiatives to improve financial processes, systems, and efficiency.
Ad-hoc projects as requested.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred
3+ years of progressive experience working in Finance/Accounting roles, preferably within the music industry or eCommerce space
Proven ability to manage projects to successful completion, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines.
Strong communication, interpersonal and writing skills with the ability to interact with business partners at all levels and functions.
Collaborative and a team player
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office products
Experience with SAP, Monday.com, Sharepoint is a plus.
