Job summary

The Rehancement Group seeks a Financial Analyst to support DHS ICE financial shared services reporting, cost analysis, and customer operations. The analyst will handle recurring calculations, investigate variances, and prepare clear analyses for federal stakeholders.

Location is ICE HQ in Washington, DC, with remote work requiring government approval. Travel may be required to designated sites; contract employment contingent on award and approvals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, information management, IT, computer sciences, data analytics, or a related field required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
  • U.S. citizenship and fluent written and spoken English required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain ICE fitness approval, background investigation, and access credentials.
  • Residence in the United States for at least three of the previous five years, unless ICE-approved exception applies.

Responsibilities

  • Gather financial and workload inputs; support recurring cost and customer activity calculations.
  • Analyze cost/workload anomalies and variances; document sources, calculations, findings, and corrections.
  • Support quarterly invoice-cost reporting and annual shared services billing reassessments.
  • Prepare financial reports, briefings, and responses to customer and leadership requests.
  • Support interagency financial agreement packages, fiscal year-end coordination, and quality review.

Job description

Position Overview:

TRG is seeking a Financial Analyst to support anticipated DHS ICE financial shared services reporting, cost analysis, and customer operations.


The analyst will support recurring financial calculations, investigate variances, and prepare clear, traceable analyses for federal stakeholders.


Location:

ICE Office of Financial Management headquarters, Washington, DC. Remote work requires prior government approval; this is not a guaranteed remote position. Travel: As-needed support may include Dallas, TX, Williston, VT, or other government-designated sites. Opportunity: Anticipated contract support position; employment is contingent on contract award, final staffing assignment, and required government approvals. Key Personnel: Not initially designated.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Gather financial and workload inputs; support recurring cost and customer activity calculations.

  • Analyze cost/workload anomalies and variances; document sources, calculations, findings, and recommended corrections.

  • Support quarterly invoice-cost reporting and annual shared services billing reassessments.

  • Prepare financial reports, briefings, and responses to customer and leadership requests.

  • Support interagency financial agreement packages, fiscal year-end coordination, and quality review.


Availability Requirement:


  • Support program operations during normal business hours. Remote work and travel are subject to government approval.

  • Education and experience requirements may vary with the final assignment level. TRG will confirm the applicable level during candidate review.


Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, information management, IT, computer sciences, data analytics, or a related field is required.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills is required.

  • The Core Team collectively provides activity-based costing, financial shared services analysis, advanced Excel and visualization, federal change/release management, SharePoint and Microsoft Office skills, and technical writing. Candidates should identify the areas they can contribute.

  • U.S. citizenship and fluent written and spoken English is requried.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain required ICE fitness approval, background investigation, and access credentials. An active security clearance does not replace ICE approval is required.

  • Current residence in the United States or its territories and residence there for at least three of the previous five years, unless an ICE-approved exception applies is required.

  • Complete required security and applicable privacy training, sign required nondisclosure agreements, and protect sensitive government information.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • For mid-level assignments: Master's degree in data analytics, finance, or public policy.

  • TRG preference: Current ICE/DHS fitness approval or an active federal security clearance, including Secret. These are preferences, not prerequisites.
