Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Financial Analyst to analyze and model financial data, forecast budgets, and support financial operations across multiple projects. The role emphasizes automation, dashboarding with Power BI, and ensuring audit readiness under federal standards.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a finance-related field, 7+ years of experience, strong communication and project management skills, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Seven (7) years of financial analysis, budgeting and budgeting execution experience
• Hands-on experience with data analytics and automation for financial management
• In-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles
• Strong communication and project management capabilities in fast-paced environments
• US citizen required for contract
• Must obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust before onboarding (active Public Trust preferred)

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial information to management by collecting and synthesizing data, modeling scenarios, and presenting analyses
• Forecast project support levels and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances
• Drive adoption of Power BI and Power Query to build dashboards and automate workflows, with AI model potential
• Lead finance transformation projects to modernize operations and strengthen performance management
• Engage with senior client executives to align with federal policies and audit readiness
