Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a dynamic Financial Analyst to join our Charlotte finance team. You will build advanced financial models, develop dashboards, and provide strategic insights to support executive decision-making and improve financial performance.

You will partner with senior leaders to prepare presentations, analyze variances, and drive process improvements across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis in a data-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, CoPilot, and ERP systems (BST, Deltek, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and forecasting techniques.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deliverables.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Build and maintain advanced financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning across KPIs.
• Data Analytics & Visualization: Create dashboards and reports with Power BI, Excel, CoPilot, and ERP data for leadership and operations.
• Performance Analysis: Conduct variance analysis and identify drivers of financial performance.
• Strategic Support: Prepare executive-level presentations and business reviews with finance leadership.
• Process Improvement: Streamline workflows and enhance data governance for timely reporting.
• M&A & Due Diligence: Support acquisition analysis and ROI scenarios as part of growth strategy.
