About the job:

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) serves as a business steward and trusted advisor. In this role, you will self-initiate, be detail-oriented, passionate about problem-solving, and creative in addressing challenges.

You will join Google's Core Finance team. Core builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products, fulfilling a mission to make Google work better for everyone at scale. Core architects the AI-native systems, platforms, and experiences powering company products globally.
Core Finance acts as trusted advisors to leadership, ensuring strategic resource allocation and driving scenario planning to maximize value and optimize operations. As the foundational finance engine, FP&A operates as core business partners managing operating expenses (OpEx). We maintain operational excellence while steering financial strategy through major transitions—building budgets, refining forecasts, evaluating business cases with strong return on investment (ROI), and tracking key performance indicators.
In this role, you will support two key engineering areas: AI Systems: driving the technological transformation toward an AI-native company and accelerating Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) delivery. AI Foundations: engineering tomorrow's technical foundation to ensure systems are faster, safer, reliable, and efficient.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
