Job summary

Brite Consulting in Texas is seeking a meticulous Financial Management Analyst with a contract management focus to help clients optimize funding, track obligations, and improve data accuracy. The role combines financial analysis with contract lifecycle tasks and requires clear reporting to stakeholders.

You will work with GFEBS, PIEE, EDA and WAWF to research purchase requests, POs, and invoices, develop KPIs, and support de-obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Identify trends and opportunities for de-obligations and prepare de-obligation packages
  • Develop roadmaps to improve workflows and establish KPIs aligned with contract goals
  • Interpret contract data for procedures, policies, and workflows
  • Prepare and summarize operational results for stakeholders, creating guides and flowcharts
  • Coordinate with COR to track requirements and streamline fund management
  • Train and mentor team members on contract management lifecycle

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Management Analyst with a specialization in contract management to join our dynamic team. This role plays a critical part in helping our clients optimize financial resource utilization through strategic analysis, streamlined contracts, and precise data, and contributing to their overall financial success.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in contract management, financial analysis, or related roles.
  • Use of General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) or other SAP financial software with experience researching Purchase Requests, Purchase Orders, and Invoicing.
  • Use of Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), including Electronic Data Access (EDA) and Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) to look up contract data and corresponding invoices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights to different audiences.
  • Knowledge of contract management processes and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) development.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to produce clear and organized documentation.
  • Collaborative and proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team
Responsibilities:
  • Improve, execute, and effectively communicate significant analyses that identify meaningful trends and opportunities for de-obligations and assist with the preparation of the necessary de-obligation packages.
  • Develop actionable roadmaps for improving workflows and processes and establish and organize Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with contract management objectives.
  • Serve as liaison between staff and management by analyzing and interpreting contract data for company procedures, policies, and workflows.
  • Prepare, analyze, and summarize operational results for use by various key stakeholders, creating reports, specifications, instructions, and flowcharts.
  • Work with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) to ensure the timely tracking of all requirements, streamlining the process for efficient fund management and allocation.
  • Train and mentor team members on the contract management process and lifecycle.

Minimum Required Years of Experience:
  • 2 – 5 years
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or a related discipline.
Security Clearance/Investigation:
Preferred Skillset:
  • Budget Analyst and/or COR experience
  • Experience with accurately collecting, organizing, and analyzing large data sets.
  • Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in contract management, specifically within the Department of Defense acquisition environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of DOD acquisition regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
