Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a Finance Expert to evaluate AI-built financial analyses against real-world corporate scenarios, validating valuation assumptions and accounting behind them. You will trace numbers through logic and write judgments to guide models toward defensible finance work.

Ideal candidates have FP&A or strategic finance backgrounds, fluency in English, and strong three-statement and DCF modeling skills. Remote, flexible project-based work with competitive compensation.

Job description

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.

Compensation

Up to $40 – $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k–$100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
