Job summary

DataAnnotation seeks a Finance Expert to audit AI-generated financial analyses and validate valuation assumptions in real-world scenarios. You’ll trace three-statement linkages, verify working capital logic, and write defensible analyses that could be presented to CFOs.

We value fluency in English, finance experience (FP&A or strategic finance), and the ability to explain complex models clearly. This is a remote, project-based role with flexible hours.

Job description

Models can build a three-statement model that looks clean and still get the mechanics wrong: a balance sheet that doesn't balance, working capital that flows the wrong way, a circular reference silently zeroed out. Someone has to trace the numbers back through the logic, and that someone is you.

As a Finance Expert you'll evaluate AI-built financial analyses on real corporate scenarios, check the valuation assumptions and the accounting behind them, and write the judgments that teach models what defensible finance work looks like.

Compensation

Up to $40 – $125+/hr depending on task difficulty and specialization. Many contributors add $10k–$100k+ a year; some make it their full-time income.
