Job summary

Masimo, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Financial Analyst, Accounting to support accounting and financial reporting through analyses, journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close in Irvine, CA on-site.

You will report to the Manager, Revenue Accounting as part of the Accounting and Finance team, with responsibilities including analysis of general ledger, audit support, and maintaining controls under US GAAP and SOX.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Experience with month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP; exposure to SOX-controlled environments and publicly traded companies is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle or other large-scale ERP systems.
• Progress toward CPA or similar certification preferred.

• Prepare analyses, reports, and schedules to support internal management reporting and external financial reporting.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Analyze general ledger accounts and financial results to identify trends, variances, and adjustments.

The Financial Analyst, Accounting will be responsible for supporting the Company's accounting and financial reporting activities through financial analysis, account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end and quarter-end close processes. This position reports to the Manager, Revenue Accounting and is part of the Accounting and Finance team located in Irvine, CA and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Prepare financial analyses, reports, and schedules to support internal management reporting, external financial reporting, and other business requirements.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze general ledger accounts, financial results, and transactions to identify trends, variances, errors, and required adjustments.
• Support internal and external audit activities by preparing schedules, documentation, reconciliations, and responses to auditor requests.
• Maintain appropriate accounting documentation and support compliance with internal controls, Company policies, and applicable SOX requirements.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 1+ years of accounting, financial analysis, or related experience; relevant internship or professional accounting experience may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Experience with or exposure to month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and U.S. GAAP. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Working in a publicly traded company and/or SOX-controlled environment.
• Experience with Oracle or another large-scale ERP system.
• Experience within the medical device, healthcare, manufacturing, or other regulated industry.
• Progress toward a CPA or other relevant professional certification is preferred.

The annual salary range for this role is $70,000 - $90,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.

Bonus / Incentive Pay 10% of annual base salary

This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay. This is the target earnings as % of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
