Job summary

Masimo, a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Sr Test Engineering Technician for on-site work in Irvine, CA. You will support verification, validation, reliability, and performance testing of Masimo products, setting up and running tests, collecting data, and maintaining lab fixtures.

This role reports to the VP, Reliability Engineering within the R&D team. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years in related laboratory or electronics testing, with hands-on use of

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and test fixtures.
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate test data and documentation in accordance with established quality system requirements.

The Sr Test Engineering Technician supports the execution of verification, validation, reliability, and performance testing for Masimo products and technologies. This role is responsible for setting up and conducting tests, collecting and documenting data, maintaining laboratory equipment and test fixtures, and supporting engineering teams in the evaluation of products and systems. This position reports to the VP, Reliability Engineering and is part of the R&D team located in Irvine, CA and will be an on-site role.

• Perform verification, validation, characterization, and reliability testing on products, prototypes, and components
• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and test fixtures
• Collect, record, and maintain accurate test data and documentation in accordance with established quality system requirements

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High school diploma or GED
• 5+ years of experience in laboratory testing, product testing, electronics testing, manufacturing support, or a related technical field
• Experience using electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and data acquisition systems

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Engineering Technology, Biomedical Technology, or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with FDA-regulated or ISO 13485 environments
• Advanced electronic troubleshooting, wiring, and soldering skills

The hourly pay range for this role is$33-$39 per hour. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range ofpossible compensationfor this role at the time of this posting. This range may bemodifiedin the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offercomprehensivepackage of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees. Note: No amount of payis considered to bewages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, benefits, or any other form of compensation and benefits that are allocable to a particular employee remains in the Company's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified at the Company’s sole discretion, consistent with the law.
