Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Budgets, Rates, and Overhead Management team on site in El Segundo, CA. You will support development of indirect rates, analyze actual vs forecasts, and prepare financial reports and forecasts for leadership.

  • Provide reports and financial forecasting support for Budgets, Rates, and Overhead Management.
  • Coordination with sector compliance and rate departments to ensure consistent approach and messaging to government counterparts.
  • Pull data from financial systems to support audit requests, monthly financial reports, fact-finding, and negotiation discussions related to the Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP) and other Sector audits.
  • Interface with accounting and corporate office to provide monthly assessments.

Job Description Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst to join us in the pursuit of top-tier financial performance to the Budgets, Rates, and Overhead Management team. This position is located on site in El Segundo, CA. This is a fast-paced high energy environment that requires a self-motivated employee to join the team.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related fields
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Experience with SAP and IBM Cognos software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business-related discipline
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Expertise in financial analysis
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to make recommendations and provide guidance to effectively drive projects to completion.
  • Knowledge of EVMS/FAR/DFARS

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
