Position

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a qualified Budget Analyst (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This position will seek to meet the financial goals and objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Ideal candidate must be self-motivated and have strong interpersonal skills
• Oral and written communication skills are imperative to the successful execution of job responsibilities
• Candidate will need very strong technical skills with Excel, strong analytical and organizational skills
• Communication and presentation skills are a requirement for the position due to frequent interaction with all levels of management (Director, Center Managers, Department Managers, Section Managers, Technical Staff)

This position may be filled at either the Level 2 or Level 3 Budget Analyst depending upon candidates, skills, knowledge, abilities and experience.

Level 2 Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree AND 2 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Masters Degree.
• Experience with Excel
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the program to meet business needs.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Level 3 Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree AND 5 years of qualifiable professional/military experience or a Masters degree and 3 years of experience.
• Experience with Excel
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain U.S.Government Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time, as determined by the program to meet business needs.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Active U.S.Government Secret Clearance or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

Salary

Primary Level Salary Range: $69,000.00 - $103,400.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $85,600.00 - $128,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
