Securitas Technology, a global leader in security solutions, seeks a Financial Analyst to own FP&A functions for the U.S. and Canada teams.

You will handle income statement reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and monthly business reviews, partnering with sales, operations, and SG&A. The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 1–3 years FP&A experience, with strong Excel and SAP skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 1–3 years of FP&A experience including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Corporate accounting experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Monthly forecasting of the full P&L (revenue, COGS, SG&A) for assigned departments.
• Annual budgeting for all P&L categories for assigned departments.
• Create slides for monthly/quarterly business reviews to summarize financial results, forecast, and KPI trends.
• Regular meetings with operational leaders to review results vs. plan and forecast.
• Variance analysis with explanations for any anomalies.
• Prepare reclassifying/correcting journal entries to ensure accurate P&L reporting across departments and branches.

Position Summary

The Financial Analyst position for Securitas Technology is responsible for all FP&A functions including income statement reporting, variance analysis, KPI tracking, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and monthly business review presentations as well as assisting the accounting team with month end closing journal entries. The analyst team supports the entire business in both the U.S. and Canada including sales teams (order entry and CRM data reporting), operational teams (installation, service and monitoring), and SG&A.

Financial Analyst

• Monthly forecasting of the full P&L (revenue, COGS, SG&A) for specific departments assigned
• Annual budgeting process for all P&L categories for specific departments assigned
• Create slides for monthly and quarterly business reviews to summarize financial results, current forecast outlook, and KPI trends
• Regular meetings with operational leaders to review results versus plan and current forecast outlook
• Variance analysis to ensure results are accurately stated, including explanations for any anomalies
• Create reclassifying and/or correcting journal entries as needed to ensure the P&L is accurately stated, with specific sensitivity to proper department and branch coding
• Investigate problems to determine underlying causes and work with other teams, including IT, to properly resolve issues

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Required
• 1-3 years of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Corporate accounting experience preferred
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet recurring monthly deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills required, along with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and SAP
