Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field.
• 3-5 years of financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related experience.
• Healthcare staffing, physician recruitment, healthcare services, or professional services industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and analyses.
• Assist with the annual budget process and forecasting activities.
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.
• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results and provide recommendations.
• Monitor KPIs and identify trends impacting company performance.
• Analyze revenue, gross profit, and margin across customers, specialties, recruiters, and units.
• Support pricing strategy analysis and contract profitability reviews.

Position Overview:

The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial reporting, analysis, forecasting, and decision support across the organization. This role partners with finance, operations, recruiting, sales, and leadership teams to analyze business performance, identify trends, improve profitability, and support strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare staffing environment. This position will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, provider revenue and margin analysis, workforce planning, and operational reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and performance analyses.
• Assist with the annual budget process and ongoing forecasting activities.
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, business decisions, and growth opportunities.
• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial results and provide actionable recommendations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends impacting company performance.

Revenue & Margin Analysis

• Analyze revenue, gross profit, and margin performance across customers, specialties, recruiters, and business units.
• Evaluate provider placement profitability and identify opportunities to improve financial outcomes.
• Track physician and advanced practice provider utilization metrics and productivity trends.
• Support pricing strategy analysis and contract profitability reviews.

Operational & Business Support

• Calculate and maintain commissions as well as evaluate performance.
• Partner with operational leaders to develop reporting and financial insights that support decision-making.
• Assist with workforce and headcount planning initiatives.
• Create dashboards and reports to improve visibility into business performance.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by leadership.

Reporting & Data Management

• Maintain and improve financial reporting tools, spreadsheets, and dashboards.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Assist with month-end reporting and reconciliation processes.
• Support system implementations, process improvements, and finance-related projects.
• Other financial duties as necessary

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 3-5 years of financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related experience.
• Healthcare staffing, physician recruitment, healthcare services, or professional services industry experience preferred.
• Experience working with ERP, HRIS, CRM, and financial reporting systems preferred.

Skills:

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience creating dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare staffing, physician recruitment, or locum tenens marketing preferred.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of balancing strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
