Job summary

Hexcel is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Salt Lake City operations. This role partners with manufacturing and operations, turning data into actionable insights to improve cost performance and financial processes in a high-performance aerospace environment.

You will support FP&A, cost reduction initiatives, monthly close, and capex planning, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive decisions that affect manufacturing efficiency and long-term growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting preferred)
  • Advanced degree such as a MBA, MAcc, CPA or CMA preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in operational finance or manufacturing Cost accounting experience
  • Demonstrated evidence partnering with various levels of organizations
  • Familiarity with MRP systems, with Journal Entries and advanced Excel skills
  • Eligible candidates must be a: U.S. citizen, U.S. national, person lawfully admitted for permanent residence, temporary resident under sections 210(a) or 245(A) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, person admitted in refugee status, or person granted asylum.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key finance business partner to the leadership team by providing Financial Planning and Analysis support, particularly by maturing and streamlining financial frameworks to enable increased management rigor across the various dimensions of the business.
  • Lead manufacturing cost improvement for all products, including feedback on estimated manufacturing costs for future programs, identification of focus areas for cost, and execution of identified initiatives.
  • Support the operation of the business through performance of working-level professional accounting work to and participating in monthly financial close process.
  • Support the capital expenditure planning and execution process for medium to high complexity projects to ensure highest returns on net assets and investments.
  • Conduct audits on financial processes and transactions.
  • Support both internal and external audits of financial controls.
