Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
• Ability to build financial models and analyze data.
• Familiarity with general ledger concepts and journal entries.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly financial reporting and analysis activities.
• Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting.
• Build and maintain financial models to support business decision-making.
• Create and enhance dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI.
• Analyze financial statements including balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement.
• Interpret financial trends, variances, and key performance metrics.
• Investigate fluctuations in costs and operating results to identify drivers.

Vaco is partnering with a growing and established organization to hire a Financial Analyst. This position will support financial reporting, forecasting, modeling, dashboard development, and operational analysis while partnering closely with finance, accounting, and operations teams. The role offers exposure to leadership, the opportunity to influence business decisions through data-driven insights, and significant room for growth within a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis concepts
• Experience building financial models and performing data analysis
• Familiarity with general ledger concepts and journal entries
• Ability to identify trends, question results, and understand business drivers behind financial performance
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• $85,000-90,000 base salary plus bonus
