Job summary

Leslie’s, a leading direct-to-consumer pool and spa care company, seeks a Financial Analyst to partner with senior leadership. You will drive cost reduction, revenue growth, and operational improvements through rigorous financial analysis and forecasting.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of FP&A experience, a finance-related bachelor’s degree, and advanced Excel skills. This role operates on a hybrid schedule at our Phoenix corporate office.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • 1 to 3 years of FP&A experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial accounting and reporting concepts.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Ability to synthesize complex datasets into executive formats.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze internal financial statements and cost center income statements.
  • Partner with leadership to produce forecasts (weekly, monthly, annual, multi-year).
  • Explain variances, identify risks, and highlight profitability opportunities.
  • Analyze key performance metrics and financial ratios.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Accounting to deliver executive insights.
  • Lead special reporting projects and data analytics.

This position is based at our corporate office in Phoenix, AZ, and follows a hybrid work schedule. Remote work is not available for this role. Candidates must reside within commuting distance, as relocation assistance is not provided. Job Overview

The Financial Analyst acts as a strategic business partner. You will communicate results and recommendations that drive cost reduction, revenue generation, and operational improvement. This deadline-driven role handles highly sensitive information and requires a deep understanding of complex financial processes. You will directly support senior leadership across our retail, commercial, and service divisions, collaborating with teams to build strategic plans and deliver meaningful performance insights.

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required.
  • 1 to 3 years of dedicated FP&A experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of financial accounting and reporting concepts.
  • Advanced Excel expertise and proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous datasets into clean executive formats.
  • Strong active listening, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and calm under tight deadlines.
