Job summary

Dun & Bradstreet seeks an experienced accounting professional to support monthly revenue close activities and variance analysis. The role handles large data sets, journal entries, and ad hoc analyses to ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will contribute to process improvements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and clearly communicate findings. A Bachelor's in Accounting with 5–7 years of experience is required; CPA or MBA is a plus.

  • Required Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA or MBA a plus)
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience
  • Strong PC skills, Proficient in Excel, Oracle GL, AR, & AP and Business Object experience
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a large workload and adapt to re-prioritization as necessary in a rapid changing environment

Responsibilities

  • Completion of complex monthly variance reconciliations & analysis with large data sets in key revenue flows for 606, sales, invoices & release events
  • Prepare monthly accounting revenue close journals, & ad hoc analysis.
  • Assist in revenue projects, key initiatives, quarterly system testing and service failures.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to increase controls and reported results
