Job summary

Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a Senior Accountant to perform complex variance analysis and monthly close journal entry work across key revenue flows.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting with 5–7 years of experience, strong Excel, Oracle GL, AR/AP, and familiarity with Business Objects. CPA or MBA is a plus. The role requires adaptability in a fast-paced environment and effective communication.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of accounting experience.
• Proficient in Excel, Oracle GL, AR and AP; Business Objects experience helpful.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage a large workload and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Completion of complex monthly variance reconciliations & analysis with large data sets in key revenue flows for 606, sales, invoices & release events
• Prepare monthly accounting revenue close journals, & ad hoc analysis.
• Assist in revenue projects, key initiatives, quarterly system testing and service failures.
• Recommend and implement improvements to increase controls and reported results

• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage a large workload and adapt to re-prioritization as necessary in a rapid changing environment
