Key Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst
- Support financial planning and reporting for capital and development projects
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and recurring financial reporting
- Assist with month‑end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and reconcile capital WIP, PP&E, inventory, and related balance sheet accounts
- Develop recurring dashboards and summarize financial trends for leadership
- Support cash flow and depreciation forecastingAssist with fixed asset accounting and project completion activities
- Partner with Accounting, Operations, and Project Management to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Support interim and year‑end audit requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, automate processes, and increase efficiency
Qualifications For The Financial Analyst
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of Accounting, Finance, Financial Analysis, or Project Accounting experience
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and variance analysis
- Experience with month‑end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience working within an ERP or financial accounting system
- Capital projects, construction accounting, project accounting, or fixed asset experience is a plus
- Hospitality or another project‑intensive industry background is a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
