Siemens Mobility in the Minneapolis-St. Paul region is hiring a Financial Analyst to support month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for our Grid Software team. This hybrid role requires living in Minnetonka for in-person collaboration at our Minnetonka office, with travel up to 5% and no relocation assistance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business with a finance/accounting focus.
• Internship experience in finance, accounting, or business.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to travel 5% domestically / internationally.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Available to start immediately in the Minneapolis–St. Paul area for in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close activities.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Process sales orders and bookings.
• Perform SAP project maintenance including setup, new customer management, invoices, and testing.
• Manage foreign tax withholdings and tax exemptions.
• Oversee Software Service Fee (SSF) management and control.
• Support R&D billings and cost transfers.
• Collaborate on commercial topics regarding project portfolios.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

We are looking for a Financial Analyst

to join our Grid Software team. This is a hybrid position based in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market; hired candidate must live in this market for in-person collaboration at our Minnetonka office.

You’ll make an impact as you:

• Support month-end closing activities.
• Assist with Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Sales Orders, Order Entry process, Order bookings.
• Perform SAP project maintenance, including project set-up, new customer management, customer invoices, improvements, and testing.
• Tax excepts / Foreign Tax withholdings management.
• Software Service Fee (SSF) management & control.
• R&D billings / cost transfers.
• Support CPMs on commercial topics regarding portfolio of projects.
• Participate in continuous improvements initiatives.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher completed in finance, accounting, or business with a focus in finance or accounting required.
• Previous internship experience in finance, accounting, or business.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to travel 5% domestically / internationally.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• Must be able to start immediately in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market for in-person collaboration; this role does not offer relocation assistance.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience using SAP, Tableau, or Power BI preferred
• Passion about AI, process automation initiatives.

The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
