Job summary

Siemens in the Minneapolis–St. Paul market is seeking a Financial Analyst to support month-end close and drive analytics across headcount, productivity, and SG&A. You will assist with budgeting/forecasting, reporting, and cost-center analysis, while handling SAP project maintenance and payroll processing for various staff.

Hybrid work applies with in-person collaboration in Minnetonka. Preferred candidates have a finance/Accounting degree, Excel proficiency, and SAP/Tableau/Power BI experience;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance or accounting; last semester students considered.
• Prior internship in finance, accounting, or business.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Travel up to 5% domestically.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Available to start immediately in the Minneapolis–St. Paul market; no relocation.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end closing activities.
• Assist with analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for Headcount, Productivity, Performance, Utilization, Recoveries, Cost Centers, OCOS, SG&A, and internal projects.
• Help with warranty overview (performance, provisions).
• Perform SAP project maintenance: setup, new customers, sales orders, invoices, testing.
• Process payroll for employees, contractors, and interns.
• Participate in continuous improvements initiatives.

We are looking for a Financial Analyst

This is a hybrid position based in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market; hired candidate must live in this market for in-person collaboration at our Minnetonka office.

You’ll make an impact as you:

• Support month-end closing activities.
• Assist with Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Reporting for Headcount, Productivity, Performance, Utilization, Recoveries, Cost Centers, OCOS, SG&A, and internal projects.
• Help with warranty overview (performance, provisions)
• Perform SAP project maintenance, including project set-up, new customer management, sales orders, customer invoices, improvements, and testing.
• Process Payroll for employees, contractors, and interns.
• Participate in continuous improvements initiatives.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher completed in finance, accounting, or business with a focus in finance or accounting required Also will consider students in their last semester working towards your finance degree
• Previous internship experience in finance, accounting, or business.
• Proficient in Excel
• Ability to travel 5% domestically.
• Ability to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• Must be able to start immediately in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market for in-person collaboration; this role does not offer relocation assistance.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience using SAP, Tableau, or Power BI preferred
