Qualifications

  • Exposure to portfolio construction or asset allocation is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Advisors in preparing comprehensive financial plans for UHNW clients and families.
  • Assist with estate and tax planning coordination, philanthropic planning, and multi-generational wealth strategies.
  • Prepare financial analyses, planning deliverables, and client meeting materials.
  • Coordinate with external professionals to support client planning initiatives.
  • Assist family office services including cash flow management and administrative support.

Job description

District Partners has been retained by a leading national wealth management firm to identify a Financial Analyst to support its Ultra High Net Worth and Family Office practice. This role will work closely with Advisors and senior leadership to support complex financial planning and family office services for sophisticated individuals and multi generational families.

Our client is one of the fastest growing independent wealth management firms in the country, overseeing tens of billions of dollars in assets under management and advisement across a national office footprint. The firm combines the scale and institutional capabilities of a large platform with the personalized service model typically associated with boutique advisory firms.

The Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting Advisors, who serve Ultra High Net Worth individuals and families with complex financial lives. Responsibilities include assisting with financial planning, estate and tax coordination, portfolio reporting, and a broad range of family office services designed to simplify and manage clients’ financial affairs.

This role requires strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a high level of discretion. The Financial Analyst will serve as a trusted internal resource for Advisors while helping deliver an exceptional client experience.

This position is based in Los Angeles and requires five days per week in office.

What You'll be Owning:
  • Support Advisors in the preparation and execution of comprehensive financial plans for Ultra High Net Worth clients and families
  • Assist with complex planning initiatives including estate planning coordination, tax planning analysis, philanthropic planning, and multi generational wealth strategies
  • Prepare financial analyses, planning deliverables, and client meeting materials
  • Respond to client requests and assist Advisors with ad hoc financial questions and planning scenarios
  • Coordinate with external professionals including accountants, attorneys, and other advisors to support client planning initiatives
  • Assist with family office services including bill pay coordination, cash flow management, and administrative financial support for client households
  • Monitor client financial information and ensure records and documentation remain accurate and up to date
  • Support Advisors in maintaining client portfolios and ensuring alignment with broader financial plans
  • Assist in preparing reports and analyses related to client financial positions, asset allocations, and planning strategies
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal workflows and client service processes
  • Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Two to four years of experience in financial analysis, investment analysis, wealth management, private banking, or a related analytical role
  • Exposure to portfolio construction, asset allocation, or investment performance analysis preferred
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and quantitative problem solving skills
  • Ability to interpret financial data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools
  • Experience working with portfolio management systems, financial reporting platforms, or investment analytics tools is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, client focused environment
  • Interest in pursuing CFA, CFP, or other relevant financial designations is strongly encouraged
