Tacony Corporation in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Finance Team.

The role focuses on delivering high-impact financial insights, pricing strategies, and analytical tools used by senior leadership to influence profitability and growth across divisions. You will translate complex data into actionable insights, support budgeting and forecasting, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize pricing and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years in public accounting, manufacturing/distribution, or multi-location environments; 1 year pricing analysis.
• Strong reporting, analysis, and problem-solving with high attention to detail.
• Experience with ERP systems and BI tools; Epicor and MS Power BI preferred.
• Strong communication to translate financial data into insights.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial data for accuracy and policy compliance across divisions and locations.
• Develop reports and dashboards that drive decision-making with ERP and BI tools.
• Assist in preparation of standard monthly financial reporting packages for executive leadership.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Provide analytical support and data research to divisions and locations to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within Finance and across the organization.
• Participate in cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Conduct pricing analysis to develop competitive, data-driven pricing strategies.
• Design, maintain, and enhance pricing models evaluating cost structures and profitability.
• Monitor competitor pricing trends and assess financial impact of pricing decisions.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to align pricing with goals.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and policy compliance across divisions and locations
• Develop insightful reports and dashboards that drive decision-making with the ERP system and Business Intelligence tools.
• Assist in the preparation of standard monthly financial reporting packages used by executive leadership

• Provide analytical support and data research to divisions and locations to resolve issues and support operational needs
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within Finance and across the broader organization
• Participate in cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Conduct market and pricing analysis to develop competitive, data-driven pricing strategies aligned with business objectives
• Design, maintain, and enhance pricing models that evaluate cost structures, demand elasticity, market conditions, and profitability
• Monitor competitor pricing trends and assess the financial impact of pricing decisions
• Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to ensure pricing strategies align with sales goals and market positioning

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in public accounting, manufacturing/distribution, or multi-location environments and 1 year of pricing analysis experience
• Advanced skills with reporting, analysis, problem-solving while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
• Experience with ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools; Epicor and MS Power BI experience preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
