Job summary

Kem Krest is seeking a motivated Financial Planning Analyst to join our Finance team in Elkhart, Indiana. This hybrid role supports budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business analysis activities that help drive informed decision-making across the organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional to build hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis within a dynamic, data-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• 0–4 years of relevant finance, accounting, financial planning, or analytical experience.
• Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Working knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting concepts.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate findings

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts to support business planning and decision-making.
• Build and maintain financial models that project future performance and evaluate various business scenarios.
• Create and update profitability analyses by program, customer, and site.
• Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results to identify trends, risks, and business drivers.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate key financial metrics and performance indicators.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support operational and strategic business decisions.
• Perform return on investment (ROI) analyses for business initiatives and capital investments.
• Partner with Site Controllers to support forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis activities.
• Assist with problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis to identify business improvement opportunities.
• Support the development of management reporting tools and continuous improvement initiatives.
