Job summary

Venteon Finance is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst for a leading manufacturing company in Eldon, MO. The role covers financial close, costing, FP&A, budgeting, and standard costs.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with MFG Pro, SAP, and HFM. You will analyze variances and support plant management with timely metrics and cost insights.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Financial Analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting required.
• Exceptional Excel skills.
• Experience with financial systems (MFG Pro/SAP/HFM) preferred.
• Ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis of operating results, including Volume/Mix/Price and Standard Margin.
• Analyze material and labor costs to identify cost reduction opportunities.
• Provide timely production, material and labor metrics to plant management.
• Maintain Cost Accounting systems and update MBOMs in MFG/PRO and reconcile to SAP BOM.
• Prepare annual standard costs and monthly cost roll-ups; analyze variances.
• Support BBP reporting and compare plant performance to global benchmarks.
• Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventories and assist in reducing inventory days on hand.
• Assist in forecasts and annual profit plan.

Venteon Finance is currently seeking an experienced Financial Analyst for a leading manufacturing company located in the Eldon, MO area. The Financial Analyst performs all duties related to financial close, costing, FP&A, budgeting, and setting/analyzing standard costs.

Requirements of the Financial Analyst

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting
• Minimum 3-5 Years of experience with some Manufacturing. Automotive is a plus.
• Exceptional skills with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
• Experience with financial systems required. MFG Pro/SAP/HFM applications preferred
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and communicate findings by verbal or presentation format.

Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst

• Performs financial analysis of operating result including analysis of Volume / Mix / Price and Standard Margin. Analyses material and labor costs to identify cost reduction opportunities. Develop and provide accurate and timely production, material and labor operating metrics reporting to plant management. Analyses, explains and documents any unusual variances.
• Maintains the plant’s Cost Accounting systems including updating the MFG/PRO Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM), reconciles the MFG/Pro MBOM to the SAP BOM, analysis and preparation of annual standard (Material, Labor, Overhead, Freight), monthly actual cost roll-ups and analysis of variances from standard costs, works with the Materials Department to ensure accurate BOM and an accurate income statement can be submitted for each month's business.
• Provides accurate and timely data for the Best Business Practices (BBP) reporting system. Assists in analyzing the Plant’s BBP results compared to the Global Best Plant in order to identify improvements in operating performance. As assigned by the Plant Controller, participates as a team member on continuous improvement projects.)
• Performs analysis and review of all inventory balances in order to identify slow moving or obsolete inventories. Reviews results of perpetual inventory testing to identify potential internal control weaknesses. Works with the Materials Department to identify opportunities to reduce inventory days on hand.
• Revises performance records, anticipates sales and costs to assist in completion of business forecasts and the annual profit plan.
