Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive finance experience.
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly forecasting and annual operating plan (AOP) processes for program labor.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reporting packages for Finance and Program leadership.
  • Deliver variance explanations and actionable insights.
  • Drive process improvement across finance and program management.

Position Overview

We are seeking a high‑performing Financial Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and program performance analysis. This role will partner closely with program management, engineering, operations, and executive leadership to drive financial visibility, accountability, and strategic decision‑making.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical rigor with business partnership skills and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead monthly forecasting and annual operating plan (AOP) processes for program labor
Program & Operational Finance
  • Support program managers with cost tracking, EAC (Estimate at Completion), variance analysis, and risk register quantification
  • Monitor program performance against budget, identifying risks and opportunities
  • Partner with operations to proactively analyze cost efficiencies and productivity metrics
  • Own the labor rate development process in conjunction with Program Management, Accounting, HR and Business Development
  • Own charge code structure, maintenance and policies
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reporting packages for Finance and Program leadership
  • Deliver variance explanations and actionable insights
  • Support internal and external audit requirementsDrive process improvement across finance and program management
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP and/or MRP systems
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills
Nice To Have
  • Experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing organizations
  • Experience with Netsuite and/or Costpoint
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) and labor rate structures
What Success Looks Like
  • Early identification of labor cost risks
  • Accurate and defensible EACs
  • Strong partnership with program management

To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

The good faith base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $125,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
