POOLCORP, the world’s leading independent distributor of pool supplies, is seeking a Financial Analyst in Covington, LA. You’ll join the FP&A group and analyze large data sets, generating insights on sales, gross margin, and expenses to support senior management.

Responsibilities include building databases, monitoring KPIs, and creating ad-hoc analyses and monthly/board reports, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer science or Data Analytics.
• Advanced Excel, data query and reporting tools expertise.
• Experience with Power BI and IBM Planning Analytics preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and accounting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Summary

The Financial Analyst will be part of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) group and will be responsible for evaluating large amounts of data and providing insights into business performance and trends. The position will also routinely create ad-hoc financial analyses and prepare materials for Senior Management and across field and corporate support teams.
