Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Financial Analyst to deliver weekly/monthly/quarterly reports, analyze variances, and support budgeting processes. You will lead Hyperion-based forecasting, build data models, and prepare presentations for management and the Board.

The role requires strong MS Excel, communication skills, and experience in manufacturing or distribution. A base US salary ranges from $57,100 to $81,200, with eligibility for a bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Experience in manufacturing or distribution companies is a plus.
  • SAP, Hyperion, Business Objects and Qlik experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, automate weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting (weekly metrics, monthly KPI’s, profit bridges, operations productivity, monthly close packages, Board of Director packages).
  • Analyze actual vs forecast/budget variances for various functions.
  • Participate in month-end close; document variances with business leaders.
  • Calculate monthly/quarterly/annual sales commissions and sales bonus.
  • Lead annual budget and quarterly forecasts in Hyperion.
  • Assist with forecasting balance sheet and cash flow; maintain Hyperion data.
  • Create and enhance reports in Hyperion for business users.
  • Develop and maintain data models to predict future results and aid decision making.
  • Support ad hoc requests; create presentations for management and board.
  • Assist with integration of acquisitions as necessary.

Job Summary
Primary Duties

Create, maintain, automate weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting including: weekly metrics, monthly KPI’s, profit bridges, operations productivity, monthly close packages & Board of Director packages

Analyze actual vs. forecast/budget variances for various functions

Participate in the month end close by analyzing variances to forecast and budgets and documenting variances with business leaders

Calculate various monthly/quarterly/annual sales commissions and sales bonus

Lead the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts in Hyperion

Assist with/lead the forecasting of the balance sheet and cash flow

Be the lead on Hyperion - train and assist users as well as maintain and validate data

Create and enhance existing reports in Hyperion for business users to improve efficiency and provide insights into results

Develop and maintain data models to predict future results and/or that assist with decision making

Support various ad hoc requests

Create presentations for management and the board

Assist with the integration of acquisitions as necessary

Qualifications

Excellent MS office skills required especially Microsoft Excel

Ability to communicate complex financial issues in simple terms, strong interpersonal skills

Excellent financial analysis skills

Experience in manufacturing or distribution companies a plus

SAP, Hyperion, Business Objects and Qlik experience strongly preferred Assist with the integration of acquisitions as necessary

Physical Requirement: Capability to lift20pounds.

Working Conditions:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.

Education / Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance or related field; MBA preferred

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $57,100.00 to $81,200.00. This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
