Job summary

BCD Meetings & Events, a leading meetings and events agency, is seeking a Finance Analyst to support a key Financial Services client in a highly regulated environment. You will handle financial tracking, billing, forecasting and month-end close for a portfolio of meetings and events, ensuring accuracy and strong controls.

The role offers hybrid working in Chicago, with 2 days in the office, and opportunities to streamline processes, partner with internal teams, clients and vendors, and drive

About The Role

You’re Good At

• Working in a highly regulated, detail-oriented environment where accuracy, confidentiality, and strong financial controls are essential
• Managing billing, reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable processes, and event-related expenses with a sharp eye for detail
• Analyzing financial and operational data to spot trends, improve efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making
• Partnering with internal teams, clients, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and keep reporting and payment processes on track
• Balancing multiple deadlines, shifting priorities, and month-end activities while staying organized and solution-focused

You Might Also Have

• 5–7 years of experience in a similar finance or analyst role
• Experience reviewing hotel, venue, and travel-related invoices against contracts and event specifications
• Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite to support reporting, tracking, and financial analysis
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple resources and stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills paired with a proactive, customer-service mindset

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Financial Analyst is between $70,000 - $80,000. The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
