Financial Analyst – New Business & Retention

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000.

Job Summary: The Financial Analyst role focuses on new business and retention. Develop financial models supporting new business initiatives and partnership extension opportunities. Collaborate with operations, finance, and sales teams to respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), strengthen existing partnerships, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the financial components of the RFP process from start to finish, including developing comprehensive financial models, revenue projections, and expense analysis.
• Structure competitive and compelling deals, including term length, capital investment, and key commercial items.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, finance, and sales to align on assumptions and strategy.
• Prepare detailed RFP responses, including written narratives and supporting schedules.
• Partner with operations and finance teams to evaluate and execute extension opportunities within existing partnerships.
• Partner with Legal to review new business contracts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with key financial teams.
• Communicate effectively with various internal stakeholders to drive efficient processes and deliver optimal business results.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in a finance related field.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field).
• Analytical, critical thinker, intellectually curious, and strong decision‑making skills.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and familiarity with financial statements/reporting.
• Able to digest financial information, render judgment, create context, and recognize patterns.
• Proficient to expert level in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
