Job description

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will be a critical member of our clients' Chandler finance team, providing financial leadership, program oversight, and analytical support across the site. This role reports directly to the Finance Director and partners closely with Program Managers, Focus Factory Managers, and the Central Finance group. This position will lead site-wide program reviews, drive monthly close and forecasting cycles, and perform ad hoc financial analyses that support operational and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to influence stakeholders in a fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead program reviews for the entire Chandler site, providing financial performance insights, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support and partner with Program Managers and Focus Factory Managers on program strategies, cost drivers, and performance outcomes.
  • Provide financial leadership to a rapidly growing environment with evolving stakeholders.
  • Drive monthly close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and performance reporting.
  • Deliver monthly forecasts with accuracy, cross-functional inputs, and variance explanations.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis on program health, cost structures, P&L impacts, pricing, and cash considerations.
  • Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Central Finance.
  • Influence business partners who may have competing priorities or limited financial experience.
  • Ensure alignment across complex programs and manufacturing environments.
  • Current systems: Crystal, Visual ERP
  • Transitioning to Oracle within 6 months - Oracle experience is preferred, not required
  • Government contracting (FAR/CAS/DFAR) is trainable - not a hard requirement
Basic Hiring Criteria
  • Minimum 5 years in Finance, FP&A, or Program Financial Analysis.
  • Strong understanding of P&L statements and financial statements.
  • Experience driving the month-end close processes.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling.
  • Strong variance analysis and forecasting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze root causes and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to influence without authority / Strong relationship building and partnership.
  • Adaptability in a fast growth, evolving stakeholder environment / Critical thinking and problem solving with a leadership mindset (role has no direct reports but strong influence).
  • Aerospace & Defense or manufacturing industry experience / Oracle ERP experience (Preferred).
  • Experience supporting program-based or project-based financials (Preferred).
  • Exposure to government cost structures, though not required (Preferred).
