Job summary

Staffmark is seeking a Financial Analyst for a fully on-site contract in Bellevue, WA. The role focuses on managing and forecasting the Account Team’s marketing budget, delivering an account-level view, and ensuring alignment with contracts and payments.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Finance, 6+ years in finance (mobile/CPG preferred), and strong Excel skills. Excellent communication and collaboration across Marketing, Sales and Finance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and forecast the Account Team’s Marketing budget and provide month-end variance reporting.
• Consolidate program details and deliver an Account-level budget view.
• Coordinate between Marketing, Sales and Finance for budget allocation.
• Validate deliverables against contracts and manage the payment process.
• Develop documentation for approvals and track spend history with MoM/QoQ/YoY comparisons.

Job Title: Financial Analyst

Schedule: Fully on-site, Monday thru Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM (hours may vary)

Responsibilities:

• Manage the Account Team’s Marketing budget, including but not limited to
• Consolidate marketing program details, such as program structure, background, business and financial details from program owners, and deliver overall Account-level view.
• Manage and forecast budget plans, reconcile between planned budget and actuals and lead month-end closing with variance reporting
• Categorize the marketing spending, keep the track record of the historical the spend, and provide MoM, QoQ and YoY comparisons.
• Coordinate between Marketing, Sales and Finance Teams on marketing budget allocation process based on priority and business needs.
• Coordinate the program owners to prepare quality documentation for approval process.
• Validate final deliverables against contract, communicate issues with the stakeholders (if any), develop solutions and recommendations and lead payment process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or business-related field
• 6+ years of work experience (mobile or CPG industry preferred)
• Strong understanding of traditional and digital marketing, the principles of driving audience relevance, budget management but ultimately the need to drive sales
• A proven self-starter, they must be a highly motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills for both internal and external discussions
• Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve business objectives, personal and team goals, and complete assignments within established timeframes and specifications

Preferred Skills:

• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the company
• Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects
• Review detailed product development, marketing documents and media materials
• Advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables, various lookups, sumifs, sumproducts, index/match, concat.
• Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels.
• The ability to develop tasks and work assignments, based on sometime vaguely defined objectives
