Job summary

DFM Solutions, based in Michigan, seeks a Financial Analyst to report on the company’s financial performance and support operations leadership with timely, accurate analysis and reporting. You will prepare detailed P&Ls across multiple sites, review costs and labor, and ensure proper revenue recognition and expense controls.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field, 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency

• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication (written and oral) skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and work with minimal supervision.

• Proven track record of preparing accurate projections and solid financial recommendations.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Excel and other software/applications.
• Ability to use advanced financial reporting systems to obtain data needed to perform complex analyses and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares detailed P&L statements for multiple customer operation sites including monthly and YTD variance analysis comparison to plan/budget.
• Reviews monthly costs, prepares accruals and reconciles quarterly / year end for all customer sites.
• Reviews monthly labor costs in detail including proper classifications to support job costing.
• Review and reconcile quotes/purchase orders with actual costs to assist with margin improvement.
• Prepare quarterly forecasts for each customer site and reviews with leadership.
• Prepares annual budget for each respective site and reviews with leadership.
• Actively participates in site reviews with the operations team.
• Support identification of risks and opportunities as it relates to their respective P&Ls.
• Manages AR invoice process and ensures proper revenue recognition.
• Supports material accounts payable process as it relates to their respective operation sites.
• Manages subcontractor accounts payable process as it relates to their respective operation sites.
• Perform analytical reviews, validations and audits as needed to support operations.

Primary Goals and Responsibilities

• Prepares detailed P&L statements for multiple customer operation sites including monthly and YTD variance analysis comparison to plan/budget.

Role Requirements
