  • Knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis.
  • Knowledge of financial accounting including the monthly financial close process.
  • Ability to develop ad hoc reports and presentations.
  • Ability to work well alone as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with regard to strict deadlines.

Job description

  • Consolidating and analyzing financial data, taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
  • Model strategic scenarios and assess ROI for process improvements, asset decisions, and capital investments.
  • Understanding of accrual accounting, activity based costing and standard costing approaches.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
  • Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
  • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
  • Gather meaningful information, identify trends and recommend actions to management based on sound analysis
  • Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
  • Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope
  • Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
  • Actively assist the monthly financial close process in all respects
  • Lead and administrate Operations Finance projects
  • Assist in the monthly and quarterly financial close process
  • Other duties as assigned

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 4-7 years’ proven work experience as a Financial Analyst, specifically in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications.
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
  • Proven knowledge of financial accounting including the monthly financial close process
  • Sufficient skills to develop ad hoc reports and presentations
  • Ability to work well alone as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills with regard to strict deadlines.
