Metric Search is partnering with a leading global investment manager looking to add a Senior Manager to a strategic finance team in New York.

This is a senior FP&A opportunity combining financial planning, modeling and business analysis with significant exposure to executive leadership. The individual will help evaluate firmwide financial performance, develop forward-looking forecasts and provide analysis supporting major strategic and financial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, forecasting and scenario analysis across key areas of the business.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, capital requirements and other financial drivers to support strategic decisions.
• Build and enhance financial models used for budgeting and longer-term planning.
• Lead cross-functional analytical projects focused on important business and strategy questions.
• Develop financial analysis and reporting for executive leadership, translating complex results into clear insights.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across the organization on strategic and ad hoc initiatives.
• Improve financial models, analytical tools and reporting processes to increase scalability and efficiency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience across Strategic Finance, FP&A or another highly analytical finance function.
• Experience within alternative asset management, investment banking or a similarly sophisticated financial environment preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting and scenario analysis capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing revenue, expenses and broader business performance.
• Strong commercial judgment with experience using financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Experience partnering with and presenting to senior leadership.
• Ability to operate at both a strategic level and remain hands-on with detailed financial analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science or another relevant discipline.

Compensation

$225,000-$300,000 base salary plus year-end bonus and benefits.
