Job Description

The Financial Analysis Manager independently leads and directs the daily planning and forecasting of Allstate’s investment portfolio, including financial analysis and results communication. This role supports business objectives with minimal guidance by proactively identifying issues, assessing implications, and recommending solutions. The manager is also responsible for building a high-performing team of data and financial analysts.

This position is hybrid, requiring Chicago-based in-office work to support business objectives and stakeholder collaboration.

What you’ll be working on:

1. Oversee the preparation of strategic and operational plans, forecasts, and scenario analyses for Allstate’s investment portfolio, using updates to influence management decisions.
2. Assist Business Unit leaders and partners in forecasting, planning, measurement, business case development, capital management, and internal controls.
3. Create compelling storylines and insights that help leaders understand results and address challenges and opportunities proactively.
4. Support planning tools to understand implications on report data flows, enabling integrated financial modeling and analysis.
5. Oversee the creation and maintenance of dynamic financial reports using Power BI or similar tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
6. Lead analytical discussions, develop models, dashboards, and presentations to translate complex data into strategic insights, maintaining governance standards.
7. Guide and mentor financial analysts, fostering continuous learning, operational efficiency, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Salary range: $92,560 - $166,465 annually, based on experience
