Job summary

University of South Carolina seeks a Financial Aid Coordinator in the Verification Department to manage the FAFSA verification and file review process for Title IV aid. The role supports the office's broader aid processing, advising, and awarding activities.

You will work within a confidential environment, coordinating with internal staff and external agencies to ensure compliance and timely processing for a large FAFSA volume. Experience with FAA Access to CPS is preferred.

• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work and communicate clearly with diverse populations and agencies.
• Ability to make independent but accurate judgments.
• Willingness to learn and maintain knowledge of FAFSA verification, FAA Access to CPS, and relevant policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the FAFSA verification and file review processes for Title IV aid.
• Manage or assist in processing and review related to verification and file review.
• Participate in general student advisement, aid application review, eligibility checks, analysis, follow-up, and awarding processes.
