Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a regionally or nationally accredited institution.
• Three (3) full-time equivalent years of increasingly responsible financial aid experience, including knowledge of current federal and state financial aid regulations.
• Knowledge of FAFSA, Title IV funding rules, and federal/state reporting requirements.
• Ability to prepare and maintain program files, records, and reports with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process and evaluate financial aid applications and funding for eligible students.
• Verify eligibility and resolve issues related to overpayments and SAP compliance.
• Assist with reconciliation of financial aid accounts and reporting to lenders and agencies.
• Provide information and counseling to students and families on aid options and timelines.
• Develop outreach materials and conduct workshops related to financial aid programs.
