Job Title: Prison Education Program Financial Assistance Representative

The Prison Education Program Financial Aid Representative will provide guidance to students and navigators in the Prison Education Program. This position is responsible for ensuring all required materials are collected and submitted in a timely manner. The position is located on the CMU Fayette Campus.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Review reports and forms to track students and identify necessary actions. (20%)
• Process federal and state applications as directed by the Director of Financial Aid. (20%)
• Communicate with students, family members, and navigators as needed. (10%)
• Work with the Department of Corrections to address any FA hurdles. (10%)
• Develop a system of tracking student information. (10%)
• Compile paper files for use by Navigators and/or the provost. (15%)
• Update information in the SIS as required. (15%)
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience Qualifications
