Position Summary

Provide in-depth financial aid counseling to students and parents in all programs (including prospective students). Advise and guide regarding federal rules and regulations, funding sources, application procedures, eligibility, and costs.

  1. Assist with need analysis, verification of financial aid documents, loans processing, and packaging.
  2. Complete all Financial Aid paperwork.
  3. Administer activities of the Federal Work Study Program.
  4. Represent the institution at professional meetings.
  5. Analyze Financial Aid applications and perform Federal verification.
  6. Coordinate policies with Finance, Registrar, and Admissions offices.
  7. Support technical operations for Banner Financial Aid System.
  8. Coordinate posting of Federal funds to student accounts.
  9. Meet with prospective students and families about financial aid.
  10. Develop and administer financial aid policies and procedures.
  11. Prepare and distribute financial aid documents and literature.
  12. Maintain and verify student financial aid records.
  13. Ensure compliance and generate reports as needed.
  14. Support federal, state, and institutional aid delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Banner, PeopleSoft).
  • 2-3 years of computer experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Title IV programs.
  • 3-5 years of financial aid experience.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Similar to minimum qualifications with emphasis on experience in financial aid policies, technical support, and coordination roles.
