Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (finance/accounting/education) required.
• Experience in financial aid or student services in higher education.
• Knowledge of federal and state financial aid programs and regulations.
• Strong communication, organization and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with navigating the financial aid process and document verification.
• Conduct financial aid presentations and individual counseling sessions.
• Evaluate applications to determine eligibility for federal, state and institutional aid.
• Maintain accurate student financial aid records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with university departments to resolve aid issues and assist stakeholders.
• Stay updated on changes in financial aid regulations and communicate updates.
