Job summary

St Pauls School of Nursing in Staten Island, NY is seeking a Financial Aid Advisor to join the Financial Aid Department. This full-time role reports to the Director of Financial Aid and requires some evening and Saturday hours.

The Advisor will provide high-level customer service to prospective students and current students, gather information for aid processing, present initial aid packages, and perform routine clerical tasks in alignment with policy and mission.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven.
• Must not have NSLDS restrictions.
• 1–2 years of experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer service to prospective students and students regarding the financial aid process.
• Assist with gathering information on potential students to ensure a trouble-free student financial aid and processing system.
