Job summary

BankUnited is seeking an Artificial Intelligence/Machine Leaning (AI/ML) Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end AI/ML solutions within our data analytics team. The role emphasizes building data pipelines, deploying models, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a banking environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage AWS SageMaker and other cloud platforms, and stay ahead of AI developments to deliver secure, scalable financial applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field or experience required.
• 5+ years of experience required.
• Proven track record deploying generative AI solutions in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements generative AI applications for financial use cases.
• Develops ML pipelines using AWS SageMaker or similar platforms.
• Builds data pipelines to support AI/ML workflows on AWS.
• Develops ETL processes to prepare data for models.
• Evaluates and deploys large language models for financial services.
