Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, investment advisory, or a comparable client-facing advisory environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading client meetings and managing ongoing client relationships.
  • Strong working knowledge of retirement, tax, estate, investment, insurance, and risk-management planning concepts.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proven relationship-building ability with a client-centered, consultative approach.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple client relationships and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, professionalism, and commitment to client confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with financial-planning software, CRM platforms, and portfolio-management tools.
  • Ability to work onsite in Northern Virginia and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to complete a background check successfully.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as lead advisor and primary point of contact for assigned client relationships.
  • Develop, present, and implement comprehensive financial plans and ongoing planning recommendations.
  • Conduct regular client review meetings and proactively identify planning opportunities.
  • Coordinate retirement, tax, estate, education, insurance, investment, and risk-management planning strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal tax, financial planning, and investment professionals.
  • Manage client onboarding, transition, and ongoing service processes.
  • Guide portfolio construction, investment implementation, and investment-related recommendations.
  • Review financial-planning analyses and recommendations prepared by associate team members.
  • Participate in business-development initiatives and cultivate referral relationships.
  • Contribute to internal investment-committee discussions and related decision-making.
  • Leverage financial-planning, CRM, and portfolio-management technology to deliver a high-quality client experience.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, ethics, and regulatory compliance.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid (3 days onsite) Wealth Advisor position based in Northern Virginia. The Wealth Advisor will serve as the primary relationship manager for an assigned book of clients and prospective clients. This individual will meet regularly with clients to understand their goals, assess their financial situation, and provide advice across key planning disciplines.

  • Must be able to complete a background check successfully.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.
