Job summary

Raymond James, Inc. in Santa Barbara, CA is seeking a Financial Advisor Trainee through the Advisory Mastery Program to build a client base and deliver tailored investment guidance across Coast and Valley markets.

Participants will complete required licenses (SIE, Series 7, 66, Life/Health and Variable Annuity) within four months, develop client relationships, and progress toward annual production targets after the first year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA) from a four-year college or university preferred, and a minimum of four (4) years working experience in sales or business development.
• Licenses: SIE; Series 7 & 66; Life, Health and Variable Annuity; ability to obtain within specified timeframes.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop client pipeline and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop client pipeline by prospecting, networking and community involvement.
• Manage full scope of client relationships by evaluating financial needs and investment objectives.
• Recommend investment products and services suitable for prospects and clients based on needs and time horizons.
• Develop a book of business aligned with AMP program goals for assets under management and production.
