Northwestern Mutual – Denver is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to oversee recruitment of Financial Advisors for our District Office. The role blends recruiting with a strong sales mindset, managing the process from sourcing to selection and offering an exceptional candidate experience.

You will cultivate referral networks, manage interviews, criteria screening, and community partnerships to attract high-caliber financial representatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years in sales, recruiting, or a related field; financial services industry experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to work professionally as part of a team and interact effectively at all levels.
• Experience in prospecting and generating leads via phone and face-to-face interactions.
• Knowledge of LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, and other sourcing platforms.
• Strong network of personal/professional advocates or active community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture effective referral sources within the office and the community to generate qualified leads.
• Oversee the entire recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening, conducting first interviews, administering screening tools, and guiding candidates through the selection process.
• Assess resumes and conduct initial interviews with potential candidates.
• Maintain relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Actively participate in community clubs and organizations to promote the office and the Northwestern Mutual brand.
• Coordinate recruitment strategies, leveraging referrals, philanthropic opportunities, and local events.
• Work with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share leads and best practices.
